Mighty Coconut is an Austin-based animation and visual effects studio specializing in original and branded content. The company was founded on the heels of the award-winning short films PIGEON: IMPOSSIBLE and THE OCEANMAKER which have garnered 15 million views online and 350 official film festival selections worldwide. A feature film version of PIGEON: IMPOSSIBLE will be released in 2019 by Fox Animation / Blue Sky for Chernin Entertainment.
Led by a creative team of industry veterans with a passion for combining stunning visuals and well-crafted narratives, Mighty Coconut has brought to life countless film and television properties, interactive content, installations and national commercials. The studio recently added a film, television and interactive arm to develop and produce projects and original IP. The slate includes a feature version of THE OCEANMAKER, a family film called KOALAROO, an animated TV series, and a multi-platform video game. Their most recent television venture was KINGS OF ATLANTIS for YouTube Red.
