Gentry is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, with a background in agency-side and in-house advertising. She began her career as a Production Manager, facilitating commercial film projects with clients like Exxon, Crayola and WordPress.
In 2019, Gentry began independently directing, producing and editing films for humanitarian efforts, social enterprises and nonprofits. This endeavor has brought her to the far reaches of the globe, filming in remote field locations with programs that make a positive impact on the world – such as the UNHCR, George Lucas Educational Foundation, The Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust and more. Gentry earned her Bachelor of Science in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin.
